I’m Anne of Leaf Livestock. The Shepherd & I are located in NW Illinois & we raise some pretty sweet Natural Colored sheep with Columbia and Rambouillet genetics. We have also raised Polypays for over 20 years. We harvest around 1,000 LBS of fiber a year, and we have various mills around the Midwest create yarn, combed top, roving, rug yarn, sock yarn, pillows, and bedding. I enjoy making batts with our fiber. I also spin and weave with our fiber. I’m intrigued by natural dyeing and I experiment with creating colors on our yarn with different plants grown on our farm or by using kitchen scraps.
